Most businesses are still in "early stages" with generative AI
Axios reported on ServiceNow’s survey of nearly 4,500 respondents from 21 countries, revealing that most companies are still in the early stages of adopting generative AI. On average, companies spend about 9% of their revenue on technology, with 15% of that allocated to AI. Looking ahead, 81% of companies plan to increase AI spending next year, with a quarter planning to boost spending by 10-14% and a similar number planning a 5-9% increase. ServiceNow identified “pacesetters” as companies not only exploring technology options but also seeking to redefine their business operations.
