93% of IT leaders see value in AI agents but struggle to deliver
According to a Mulesoft survey, 93% of enterprise IT leaders plan to implement AI agents within two years. Organizations use an average of 897 apps and have doubled their AI models—from nine in 2024 to 18 this year—with agent users deploying about 22 models compared to 15 for non-adopters. Yet only 29% of these apps are connected, and 95% of respondents report data integration challenges across systems.
