The Revenue Intelligence Summit brought together over 700 revenue leaders to discuss how to unlock smarter revenue strategies with better intelligence.
TigerEye’s session, led by Anna Randall, Head of Sales at TigerEye, and Yuri Yakubov, Head of Finance and Business Operations at TigerEye, offered a deep dive into leveraging AI effectively for sales and RevOps. Below is a short recap of their presentation.
1. Improve Prompts for Better Results A good prompt is like a clear question to a colleague, as it guides AI to deliver more useful, actionable information. As such, mastering prompts is crucial to get the most out of AI. Specific, well-crafted questions can transform AI from a basic tool into a powerful partner for uncovering insights and automating tasks.
2. Help AI Get Better Just like training a new employee on how a company operates, AI systems learn and improve the more they are engaged with and refined over time. Adopting AI now is crucial, even if immediate results aren’t always guaranteed. AI's capabilities evolve with use, and those who adopt early are positioning themselves to reap larger benefits over time.
3. The Role of Data Quality and Collaboration Data quality is foundational for AI success. Without clean, accurate data, AI's insights can be limited or misleading. Collaboration between teams, especially between RevOps, sales, and finance, is key to ensure that AI initiatives align with business goals and provide meaningful outcomes.
4. Vetting AI Capabilities It’s important to stress-test AI during demos, participate actively, ask challenging questions, and demand transparency into how insights are generated. Go beyond the marketing materials to identify platforms that truly align with your organization’s needs. Credible platforms should be able to show how the AI arrived at certain answers — and demonstrating the math behind the analysis builds trust and confidence in the results.
5. Building a True Collaboration with AI AI isn't just a tool; it’s a partner. Effective collaboration with AI can lead to a more productive workflow, especially for sales and RevOps teams. AI can take on repetitive tasks, freeing teams to focus on strategic work. This symbiotic relationship makes both users and the technology smarter over time.
Looking Ahead
AI is already transforming RevOps and Sales, and those who adopt and adapt early are positioned for long-term success. From crafting better prompts to ensuring data quality, these strategies provide a practical roadmap for revenue leaders to take advantage of AI’s full potential.
