In March 2023, TigerEye joined Pledge 1%, a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers companies to effectively leverage their assets for positive social impact. By pledging 1% of its equity and 1% of its workforce’s time, TigerEye is dedicated to supporting the community and establishing a meaningful funding source to drive long-term social impact. This funding will increase as the company grows.
From March to November 2023, the company has already contributed approximately 164 hours of volunteer service to a range of nonprofits across the U.S., including SF-Marin Food Bank, City of Dreams, various schools, and local organizations. TigerEye’s remote workforce of 25 averaged 18 hours of volunteer work per month, with activities spread out across states like California, Oregon, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
As many companies revert to traditional offices, TigerEye’s co-founders stand firm on remote work. Embracing this model has proven advantageous in creating a culture of community involvement. The remote setup offers employees the autonomy to balance their personal and professional lives, thereby creating space for them to volunteer in activities that resonate with their values.
By distributing its workforce across the globe, TigerEye taps into diverse communities, enabling its employees to contribute locally and personalize their community service. This approach may set a precedent for others to follow, blending professional success with social responsibility.
