Innovation at TigerEye: Blending AI and BI for Faster Decision-Making

At TigerEye, we’ve always focused on building tools that simplify complex data and help businesses to make smarter, faster decisions. Our CTO, Ralph Gootee, recently spoke with Unite.AI about how TigerEye combines artificial intelligence (AI) with traditional business intelligence (BI) to create actionable insights for go-to-market teams (e.g. finance, sales, marketing).

Ralph explained how our platform learns from workflows, automatically spotting data changes and suggesting the next best move. Ask questions and instantly get answers and predictive insights, helping go-to-market teams look ahead instead of just looking back.

“Like having a junior analyst on your team who never sleeps."

TigerEye is designed to seamlessly integrate with systems like Salesforce and NetSuite, providing users with real-time, accurate insights. The platform doesn’t just report; it proactively learns from daily workflows and dynamically adjusts to provide insights as the data changes. This means our AI Analyst stays in sync with the updates happening in CRM, ERP, and marketing systems, ensuring that teams always have the most up-to-date information.

“The goal is to make AI accessible and understandable for business teams. Instead of waiting for data teams or relying on cumbersome interfaces, you can simply ask questions and get responses immediately.”

A significant part of TigerEye’s innovation lies in the incorporation of DuckDB and Flutter into our tech stack. DuckDB enables us to handle real-time analytics and manage large datasets efficiently, making sure data querying is fast and reliable. Flutter, on the other hand, allows us to deliver a responsive, user-friendly interface that enhances the overall experience. Additionally, we contributed to the open-source community by developing DuckDB.Dart, which enables seamless integration with Dart and Flutter environments, ensuring that our platform remains flexible, scalable, and optimized for performance.

With our use of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, TigerEye is able to take AI-generated responses and dynamically incorporate the latest data. This ensures the insights we provide are both current and actionable, addressing a key challenge of relying solely on pre-trained data. RAG technology allows TigerEye to give more accurate, timely insights, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions faster.

By integrating business simulation and machine learning, TigerEye not only analyzes past data but also predicts future outcomes. This proactive approach gives teams the ability to make informed decisions based on what’s likely to happen next, helping them stay ahead of the competition.

For TigerEye, this innovation comes from a team-wide commitment to finding the best solutions. “It required the full participation of the team, with every front-end and back-end engineer involved. This wasn’t just about text output; it was about creating a system that integrates interactive features and simulators that users can easily use to take action,” Ralph shared.

TigerEye’s focus on providing real-time, data-driven insights with ease of use demonstrates our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that make a difference for go-to-market teams. We continue to evolve, pushing the boundaries of AI and BI to simplify data analysis, eliminate complexity, and help teams to make decisions with confidence.
