Back in August, TigerEye proudly launched DuckDB.dart as an open-source project. Now, with the upcoming release of DuckDB.dart version 1.1.3, we’re delivering full feature parity with DuckDB as promised at DuckCon Seattle — achieved in under three months.
DuckDB.dart can now load 1 million rows of data into Dart in under 10 seconds, with 100% DuckDB compatibility, and full data type support, reinforcing TigerEye’s leadership in high-performance data analytics and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations.
Key customer enhancements include:
- Core Data Processing Rewrite: A complete overhaul of the data processing engine to increase memory efficiency and speed. Leveraging Dart’s generics and static typing, TigerEye now handles complex, large-scale data processing with lower resource consumption.
- Async Query Support: With DuckDB’s PendingResults, TigerEye now allows customers to run concurrent queries, providing real-time analytics on demand for go-to-market teams without compromising performance.
- Memory-Efficient Streaming Fetcher: A new streaming fetcher offers customers the flexibility to cancel and restart queries as needed, keeping insights up-to-date and enabling quick adaptation in fast-paced environments.
- Upgrade to DuckDB Version 1.1.3: With the latest features and speed improvements, TigerEye now enables simultaneous analysis of historical and real-time data, enhancing ETL workflows for large-scale data transformations.
These updates make TigerEye a strong, future-ready platform for go-to-market teams looking for fast, reliable data insights and scalable analytics.
